Ann Watt
Director
Ann has been Pivotal’s Director since our launch in 2019. Ann is a former senior civil servant with 25 years’ experience in Belfast and London. From 2014–2019, Ann was Head of the Electoral Commission in Northern Ireland. Before this she worked in London in the Treasury, Cabinet Office and Home Office.
Dr James Greer
Senior Researcher
James is an experienced researcher and academic. He has researched, taught and published widely on issues regarding politics and society in Northern Ireland, devolution and public policy across the United Kingdom, and the political history of Ireland.
Tom Burns
Researcher
Tom is a Law with Politics graduate, with a Master’s in Global Security and Borders from Queen’s University Belfast. His focus has been on the politics and policies of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.
